Calder Creek Naturalization Project

One of the jewels in the rough at Sebastopol's Ives Park is Calder Creek. There's a move afoot to naturalize the creek. The first step is a design, which is being funded by a grant obtained by the Waterway Restoration Institute. There have been a number of Planning Commission meetings on the project. The next one is on January 11, when a concept plan is scheduled to be presented. Attend the meeting (start time 6pm). It will undoubtedly be inspiring and interesting.
